2021 Volkswagen Tiguan Facelift To Launch In November

The 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan to be launched near the festive season in the month of November. It was supposed to be launch in the mid-2021 but due to COVID-19 pandemic, it got delayed.

The major change done to car is that the pre-facelift model used to come only a diesel but now this time, it will available with only a petrol engine only. It will get a 2.0 litre turbo charged petrol engine which produces 190 Ps of power and 320 Nm of torque. It gets a 7-speed DCT gearbox which channels power to all 4-wheels.

The car also get some cosmetic changes such as on the front, it gets a new bumper design, and a 3-slatted chrome grill that connect the leadlamps. At rear, gets a redesigned bumper and revised taillamps. On the side, there's no change except the new 18-inch alloy wheels.

On the inside, there is nothing much of a change as such. It gets a new steering wheel, touch panel for climate control AC, a new digital driver's display, 30 colour ambient lighting. The most of the features are from the pre-facelift model such as a 8-inch infotainment system, 3-zone climate control AC, connected car thech, panoramic sunroof, electric adjust for driver seat, power tailgate, etc.

The pricing of this car is expected to be around Rs.28 lakh to 32 lakh (ex-showroom) and will compete with the Jeep Compass and Citoren C5 Aircross.
