2022 Skoda Kodiaq Facelift Launched In India. Rised Upto Rs. 37.49 Lakhs
Skoda has launched the Facelifted Kodiaq in India. Priced at around Rs.34.99 to 37.49 lakhs (ex-showroom). It's an exclusive 7-seater full-size SUV from Skoda competing with the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster and Mahindra Alturas G4.
Talking about the car, the design is really great and the car looks damn premium and bold. Upfront, it gets a new pair of all LED headlamps which are adaptive and connected to the Skoda grille covered in chrome, foglamps right below it and headlamp washers beside it. The bumpers are revised with a hexagonal radiator grille.
From the side, it gets new alloy design sized 18-inch and chrome surrounds on windows. There is an addition of a rear spoiler and dynamic turn indicators and everything is same as before.
On the inside, the dashboard design is same as before beside the new 2-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel. There is the use of stone beige upholstery and the seats are 12-way electric adjust for front passengers. It has a virtual 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a 8-inch infotainment system equipped with a 12-speaker Carton sound system with 625 W of output.
Under the hood, there sits a 2.0-litre TSI engine producing 190 Ps of power and a torque output of 320 Nm mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission which channels power to all four wheels.
It is available in 3 trim options.
Style - Rs.34.99 lakhs
Sportline - Rs.35.99 lakhs
Laurin and Klement - Rs.37.49 lakhs.
The sportline trim is majorly focused on driver with all black interior and some black treatment here-and-there and a 3-spoke flat bottom steering wheel. While the 'Style' and 'Laurin and Klement' are focused on rear seat comfort. It gets a progressivew steering wheel and Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) (only in top trim) under which it gets 6 deive mode options: Eco, Comfort, Sport, Snow, Normal and Individual.
Coming to the safety of this car, it gets ABS, EBD, ESC, electronic,hydraulic and mechanical brake assist, electronic differential lock, anti slip regualtion, etc. and all of this standard by the way.
