Booking commences for the Jeep Grand Cherokee

Jeep India has started the bookings of their premium SUV the 'Grand Cherokee' in India. It is the fourth locally assembled car from Jeep. As it is a CKD unit so the price is expected to lower.
Grand Cherokee will be locally assembled at the Ranjangaon plant and it will launch on 17 November and the prices will be announced on the same date. The expected price is between 80-85 Lakhs and the expected rivals are the BMW X5, the Mercedes-Benz GLE, Range Rover Velar, etc.
In terms of looks, it looks a bit similar to the Meridian but we will look into it thoroughly after the launch.
