MG Astor To Be Unveiled On September 15
MG's upcoming Hyundai Creta rivaling Astor will be finally launched on September 15and launch will be in the festive season.
The automaker has already revealed the key features of this suv. It will come with the Industry first personal AI assistant and first-in-segment autonomous level-2 ADAS technology which will be especially developed and tested for Indian road conditions.
while former will get a robot head like device placed on the top of the dashboard that can even turn to a person interacting with and will show human like emotions.
This car is 4323 mm long,1809 mm wide and 1650 mm tall. It's top variant will get 17-inch dual tone alloy wheels and with intelligent headlamp control, roof rails and exterior chrome treatments.
In the inside, it will get a 3 spoke steering wheel brushed metal-esque decorative theme and a stepped dashboard. It will get 3 interior theme options - dual tone Sangria Red, dual tone Iconic Ivory and Tuxedo Black.
MG says, it will come with 27 standard safety features such as 6 airbags, ABS, ESP, TC, Hill Descent Control, Level 2 autonomous tech and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and many more.

MG said that Astor will be offered with 2-petrol engines - a 1498cc naturally aspirated engine which produces 110 PS and 144 Nm of torque and a 1349cc turbo petrol which produces 140 PS and 220 Nm. Unfortunately, it will not be offered with a diesel engine. With the 1498 cc engine, you can opt for a manual or a 8-speed CVT gearbox whereas with the turbo-petrol, you will only get a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
This SUV will give direct competition to the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Renault Duster.
