Newly Launched Mercedes-Benz EQS Is Much Cheaper Than Its AMG Version

Mercedes Benz launched the new EQS 580 at a significantly less expensive than the EQS AMG with a price difference of Rs.90 Lakhs. Its overall look is more oriented toward simplicity and subtleness, giving it a luxury appeal.
In terms of mechanics, it is powered by a 107.8 kWh battery pack mated with two electric motors producing 563 Bhp of power and 856 Nm of torque. It can make a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4.3 sec and maxes out the speed at 210 km/h.
Mercedes claims a range of 857 km on a full charge which is the highest compared to any other electric car in India. It can charge from 10% to 80% charge in just 31 minutes with the support of fast charging.

Talking about the pricing, this car starts at a price of Rs.1.55 cr (ex-showroom) cause it is locally assembled at the Chakan plant and the reason why the EQS AMG is much more expensive is due the CBU route brings it to India which makes a price gap Rs. 90 Lakhs between both these cars.
