Skoda Slavia Revealed. Official Bookings Open Now.
Skoda has officially revealed the Slavia. It is a C-segment sedan and the second car to use the new MQB-A0-IN (having 95% localisation) platform after Kushaq. Skoda has also started the booking of it. You can book it by paying Rs.11,000 as a token amount.
In terms of design, Slavia looks quite elegant. From the front, gets sleek headlamps with L-shaped DRL's attached to the typical Skoda grille with vertical slats and framed by chrome and below there are fog lamps and large air intakes.
From the side, has chrome door handles, 16 inch alloy wheels and a Slavia badge. Also gets some chrome on the window area. Has a shark fin anteena mounted on roof.
On the rear, gets split taillamp setup with Skoda written in between instead of the logo. on the lower side, has a chrome strip connecting both the reflectors.
Dimensions: 4541 mm long (wheelbase of 2651 mm), 1752 mm wide and 1487 mm tall.
It will be offered in 5 colour options - Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Carbon Steel, Crystal Blue (new), and Tornado Red.
On the inside, gets dual tone treatment for the dashboard and a bronze coloured element in the center. There is a 10-inch infotainment screen. Below it, there are AC vents and below it are the AC controls. The AC vents in the corner are circle shaped. The steering is the typical Skoda unit which in almost all the new Skoda cars. Has 8-inch all digital instrument cluster and dual tone seats.

There are 2 engine options, a 1.0 litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine which produces 115 PS of power and a 1.5 litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine (with engine deactivation) producing 150 PS.
As far safety goes, Slavia will 6 airbags, ISOFIX, TPMS, ESC (standard), traction control, hill hold control, ABS, EBD, vehicle stability management and an electronic differential lock system.
Skoda said that the deliveries will begin in first quarter of next year.
