Tata HBX To be Called As Punch

Tata motors teased the HBX officially. Tata motors has officially announced that the name of this car will be 'Punch'. Earlier there were so many different names given to this car such as Hornbill, Timero, HBX but at last, Tata motors assigned the name Punch.

The most attractive thing in this car is the pricing. The starting price of this car will be under 5 lakhs (ex-showroom).

This car will be launched in the market before the festive season. The design of this car looks like a compressed harrier. At front, firstly it gets a DRL's connected by a chrome lining and the main headlamps below it and fog lamps on the lower part. This car gets raised suspensions, body cladding running throughout the lower portion.

Tata Punch gets a sporty diamond cut alloy wheels with dual tone colour treatment. The pillars are totally black and the door handles for rear door is on c-pillar.

Tata Motors hasn't revealed the interior but says that there is a good amount of space inside the cabin. This car will get a ton of safety features which will be segment leading.

The engine in this can be a 1.2 litre petrol engine, the same engine which powers the Tiago and the Altroz and the transmissions could be an AMT or a 5-speed manual.

This car will give direct competition to the Maruti Ignis, Mahindra KUV 100 and upcoming Hyundai's micro SUV named AX1.
