Tata Safari Dark Edition Launched With A Hype of Rs.72,000!

Tata Motors launched the Dark Edition of Safari at price between Rs.19.06 lakhs to Rs.22.42 lakhs (ex-showroom). The firm already has dark editions of Nexon, Nexon EV, Altroz and Harrier so let's take a look what Tata Motors has done this time.

The Safari is finished in Oberon black exterior paint with use of some gloss black on some places. On the front, it gets gloss black finishing on the grille with some pinch of chrome, around the headlamps and a bold Tata logo in between.

From the side, the main highlight are the 18-inch alloy wheels painted in stone black, roof rails and finished in gloss black, blacked out window surrounds and the #Dark badge finished in chrome.

Coming to the inside, the dashboard is finished in black with grey colour instead of the wooden design in the middle and all the other silver parts are finished in gloss black such as on steering wheel and around grab handles of doors. The seats come with black colour with blue coloured tri-arrow detailing.

Mechanix are same as before i.e. 2.0-litre diesel engine with an output of 170 Hp and 350 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Overall, the car looks really dope but the big bummer here is that there is a price increase upto Rs.75,000/- depending upon what variant you choose. The variant wise price hype is as follows:
