Tata Safari Dark Edition To Launch On 18 Jan!

Tata Motors has planned to launch the 'Dark Edition' of Safari. They released a teaser video showing the Safari in all black exterior with blackened out elements such as alloy wheels, grille, headlamps and a '#Dark' badge on it.

There are no glimpse of interior in this video but it could get a blackened dashboard and seats as all other dark editions.

Currently Tata has dark editions of Altroz, Nexon, Nexon EV and the Harrier so it is expected that there will be a price increase of around Rs.30,000 with this shade than the regular model.

There will be no change in the mechanicals of this 3-row SUV. It will be powered by the same 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine producing 170 Hp and 350 Nm of torque mated to 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
