Tata Tiago And Tigor iCNG Variants Launched

Tata Motors has launched the CNG variant of Tiago and Tigor at a price tag of Rs.6.1 lakhs and 7.7 lakhs (ex-showroom) which is a premium of Rs.90,000 over the standard models.

The engine specifications are same as before i.e. a 1.2 litre petrol engine but there is drop in power and torque figures i.e. 13PS and 18Nm of power and torque respectively. This variant produces 73PS of power and 95Nm of torque.

There are also some changes to car. The top variant of Tiago gets a projector setup for headlamps similar to Tigor, chrome use on door handles and below the front grille and introduction of a new paint scheme which the firm calls 'Midnight Plum' for Tiago and 'Magnetic Red' for Tigor with black roof.

In the interior, both the car get dual tone finishing on the dashboard (black and beige) giving it a premium appeal and there are some addition of features as well which contain automatic headlamps and vipers.
