Toyota Yaris Discontinued In India. Service Issue for Owners?

Toyota has discontinued Yaris in India on 27 September 2021. Toyota's official statement says that discontinuation of the Yaris is a part of the brand’s product strategy to “continue to cater to the ever-evolving needs of the customer through enhanced technologies and product offerings.”

Toyota says that the customers will get genuine spare part support in India for a minimum of 10 years from now. Toyota says that it will deliver even better cars with advance technologies to Indian customers. Toyota announced that it will launch new cars in coming year 2022.

Toyota also thanked customers who purchased the Yaris and said that it will give seamless experience to the all Yaris customers across all outlets in India.Toyota Belta will replace the Yaris which will be the re-badged Maruti Suzuki Ciaz in the C-segment market.
